Cyclesense servicing

Regular servicing will help you get the most out of your ride. Our in-house mechanics are highly skilled and experienced, ensuring the best possible service. We have various levels available:

Basic - £45

The basic service will help to keep your bike ticking along. We recommend a basic service every 3-6 months based on usage.

  • Gears set for optimum performance.
  • All cables lubricated and checked.
  • Brakes set for optimum efficiency.
  • All bolts safety checked and adjusted to correct torque.
  • Tyres/tubes checked and inflated to correct pressure.

Standard - £75

Our standard service, which includes:

  • Brakes & gears adjusted for optimum performance.
  • Cables checked and lubricated.
  • All bolts safety checked and adjusted to correct torque.
  • Tyres/tubes checked and inflated to correct pressure.
  • Bicycle cleaned and degreased.
  • Worn components removed for maintenance or replaced where necessary. We will contact you before proceeding with any replacements.*
  • All bearings checked and adjusted where possible. This includes wheels, headset and bottom bracket bearings.
  • Wheels trued and tensioned. Rims checked for wear.

Deluxe - £120

The full works. Get your bike feeling like new. Includes everything in a basic & standard service as well as:

  • Bike fully stripped down to the frame. The frame and individual parts are then cleaned and degreased.
  • Frame checked for damage/corrosion.
  • Serviceable hubs are overhauled, stripped and rebuilt.
  • New cables are included as part of the deluxe service. However, there will be a small surcharge for a small selection of certain cables. Our workshop manager will make sure you are aware if this applies to your bike or not when booking in.
  • The labour costs for fitting all new parts included as part of the service. The parts themselves are chargeable. Customers will be contacted by our workshop before these works are carried out.
*Any new components used within the service will be charged on top of the initial cost, parts fitted may also be liable for extra labour charge (basic & standard only). You will be informed by the mechanic before any work commences with reasons why and advice.
