Christmas Delivery

Our last day for dispatch is Thursday the 22nd of December. We use a next day/express courier for bikes, such as DPD or TNT/Fedex. All couriers are experiencing some delays at the moment so nothing is guaranteed, but these services are intended as a next day service and have been largely delivering as such.

If a bike is ordered before 12pm, we will do our very best to dispatch it on the same day. Again, this is not a guarantee, but we will do our best! If we can't dispatch on the same day, we will dispatch the next working day. Please bear in mind that we are closed on Wednesdays, so no orders are processed or dispatched on those days.

We fully assemble your bike before delivery as though you were going to ride it away from the shop. To get it back into a box for the courier, there is some minor disassembly such as removing pedals and handlebars.

Smaller Items

For pre-Christmas we now strongly recommend you upgrade from our standard post (Royal Mail 48) to either Royal Mail 24 or DPD. Royal Mail have indicated that the last day for Royal Mail 24 should be the 16th, but even that is not guaranteed. To give the best chance of pre-Christmas delivery, we recommend selecting the DPD option.

If your item is in stock and ordered before 12pm, we will do our best to despatch your order the day you place it. Please bear in mind that we are closed on Wednesdays, so no orders are processed or dispatched on those days.

Delivery Information

UK Delivery

If your item is in stock and ordered before 12pm, we will do our best to despatch your order the day you place it. In busy times we tell you how long it will take us to process it.

The above does not apply to bikes, which we have to assemble and inspect before repacking for dispatch. Typically we try to have bike orders dispatched within 3-5 days, but in busier times it may take longer. In those cases we'll let you know of longer than expected delivery times.

Please bear in mind that we are closed on Wednesdays, so no items will be dispatched then.

Free Postage over £40 on small items

For small items we use Royal Mail's 48 service which has a delivery time of typically 2-3 days from dispatch; though you do have the option to upgrade to 24 which is generally next-day from dispatch if you require your order sooner. Please note in some cases the item will need to be signed for, so please provide an address where someone will be in.

Orders of over £40 will qualify for free standard postage with Royal Mail 48. This excludes certain bulky or awkward items (for example shoes and helmets) which will be calculated automatically at the basket screen. Unless stated otherwise, bikes also do not qualify for free postage. Please see below for details on that.

Bike Shipping

When we send out a larger parcel such as a bike or trailer we use a tracked courier such as TNT's next-day service.

For these reasons please supply us with a delivery address where there will be someone in to sign for your parcel. If there is nobody in when the couriers call, they will leave a card. You can then phone them to arrange delivery for another day or collect your goods from your local depot (a photo ID with proof of address will be required).

Outside the UK

Since Brexit it is no longer feasible for our website to have permanent shipping prices for international delivery. Instead, if there is an item you are interested in, please Contact Us with a full delivery address and we will quote for delivery.

All the prices on our website and catalogue are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT, but VAT will be removed for international orders. Please bear in mind you will likely have to pay your country's taxes and import duties for any items.

Koga Bikes

About Koga

Koga was founded in 1974 and produces a selection of top quality bicycles in their factory in Heerenveen, Holland. Each bicycle is hand assembled by one mechanic from start to finish to ensure perfection. Koga's mechanics have been trained in-house at Koga for a minimum of two years.

They are not a company who are interested in world domination; preferring to focus on the quality of their bikes instead.

When Koga design a new model they focus heavily on the finish. You won't find aluminium frames with a better finish or welds than Koga, giving them a distinct and unique look. They work tirelessly to make sure the components work harmoniously with each other. If this is not possible, they simply design new components themselves. You'll find no better example of this than their incredibly popular range of handlebars.

Koga have broken records and won awards throughout their history. Most notably they recently assisted Mark Beaumont with his Round the World in 80 Days campaign, which he completed aboard a Koga Kimera carbon road bike.

Koga at Cyclesense

We have been Koga dealers for most of our 30 year history and Dave, Cyclesense founder and MD, was even the UK agent for Koga for many years. Nowadays, we are the UK's premier dealer, with a wide range of Koga bikes and accessories in stock at our High Street store.
