Cyclesense Tadcaster Sportive - 9th April 2017
Last year we hosted the inaugural Cyclesense Tadcaster Sportive, raising over £3000 for Martin House Children's Hospice. On the 9th of April in 2017 we're doing it for a second time and we hope to raise even more. Like last year, entry fee for the sportive is £20, with £5 of each entry going to Martin House and the fantastic work they do to support children with life-limiting illness.
The event sold out all 500 places and went down a storm in 2016 so we expect even more interest this year. With this in mind, please enter as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment!
Similar to last year, our sportive will take in some of the beautiful scenic country roads around Tadcaster and will feature two different routes of 60km and 100km.
The 60km route is something that anyone can have a go at. Flat smooth roads and a short enough distance give riders the chance to get that first sportive event under their belt.
The 100km route will provide riders with more of a challenge. The first half of the route will be mostly flat but the second half will feature more challenging terrain. The April date represents the perfect chance for riders to test themselves ahead of the season to come.
