Bike Hire
Great bikes, great rides and good times!
It is our mission to make cycling easy and enjoyable for all ages and abilities. Cycling is a great way to get fit, enjoy the fresh air and have fun. Our Thorp Arch shop is a moments cycle away from the start of the new Wetherby Railway Cycle Path(Route 66). The path which is part of the Sustrans national cycle network runs from the Thorp Arch Trading Estate (where we are) to the historic market town of Wetherby. In Wetherby you can quickly join the Harland Way cycle path (Route 67) which takes you to Spofforth
It is great to be able to offer a traffic free route through some very peaceful countryside Cycle hire is a service that will be very useful for the people of Leeds. Have you ever had friends or family come to stay and not had a spare bike or have you ever wanted to try cycling or a new bike but didn't want to just cycle round a car park.

History of the Wetherby Railway Path:
In 1992 the disused railway between Spofforth and the
outskirts of Wetherby was converted by Harrogate Borough
Council into a path for walking and cycling, and in 1993 it was
extended into the former railway 'triangle' in Wetherby by
Wetherby and District Lions Club (the route being named after
Peter Harland the Lion President who died during the planning
stage). In 2003 Leeds City Council built the route eastwards
from Wetherby to Walton Gates and it was continued by
Leeds City Council to the Thorp Arch Trading Estate in 2007,
guided by the Wetherby to Thorp Arch Railway Path Forum.
